I co-founded Tuple with my friends Ben and Joel, a specialized screen sharing tool designed specifically for pair programming. As the founding CTO, I helped build the technical foundation of the company before transitioning to the role of CEO.

My journey in software development was driven by a fascination with creating tools that solve real problems and enhance collaboration. Now as a member of Tuple's board, I remain connected to the technology world and the principles of design that guided our creation.

Crafting in Three Dimensions 🛠️

Currently, I'm immersed in the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship's 9-month intensive program, which concludes in May. The 9-month program at CFC has proven to be the densest learning experience of my life—a deep immersion that has transformed my understanding of craft at a pace I never thought possible.

I'm open for furniture commissions, approaching each project with the same attention to detail and problem-solving mindset that guided my work in software.

Future

Building From First Principles 🎥

Looking ahead, my mission is to launch Bootstrapped Woodworking — an initiative designed to help others discover and develop woodworking skills without significant financial barriers.

Drawing from my experience in both technology and craftsmanship, I aim to create a learning path that emphasizes fundamentals over equipment and skills over tools. This approach mirrors how I believe the best making happens: from first principles, with clarity of purpose, and an emphasis on craft.
